The first Mastercraft was made at a horse farm in Maryville, Tennessee. However, at first it was not enough with orders: during the year the shipyard launched only 12 boats. Nevertheless, more and more pros and just lovers of water skiing, having tried towing Mastercraft, subsequently handled orders.

1972: MasterCraft - the official tugboat at the First National Water Ski Championship (USA).
1982: MasterCraft - official tug in the Cypress Gardens and Marine World theme parks.
2006: Company awarded the WSIA Manufacturer of the Year Award.
2008: Shipyard received an award from J.D.

Power and Associates and is named the “Best Customer-Oriented Company” in the category “Waterski and Wakeboard Boats”. Which is understandable: a huge number of records and achievements are associated with the MasterCraft towers. Today, the shipyard’s production facilities are located in Vonore, all in the same Tennessee. The company's sole factory employs more than 550 people. The company sells boats in more than 30 countries, covered by about 120 dealerships.
