Torqeedo was founded in February 2005 and specializes in the development and production of first-class electric motors for boats. All engines are designed and manufactured in accordance with the highest standards of quality, accuracy and high performance. The main center of the company is located in Starnberg, on Lake Starnberg.
On lakes in many European countries, the use of internal combustion engines is prohibited in order to protect the environment. As a rule, anyone who wants to travel around the lake in a motorboat should use an electric motor. Currently, Torqeedo has six offices in five countries: Germany, USA, France, UK and Spain.
The company aims to offer customers the most innovative and sophisticated boat electric motors on the market. Modern technologies make it possible to maximize the potential use of electric motors for motor boats.
