The American shipbuilding company EdgeWater has existed since 1992, when Bob Dougherty, who worked for decades at the famous Boston Whaler shipyard, decided to open his own business in order to build new generation boats using the most modern technologies.
EdgeWater boats quickly gained popularity thanks to a combination of unsinkability, reliability and efficiency. The technology applied by the company made it possible to make their cases unprecedentedly light.
The production base of the company is a modern shipyard in the city of Edgewater in Florida. EdgeWater enclosures are 100% composite and do not use wood. They are made by hand and are designed for a long service life. The company deliberately refused to use budget components in equipping its boats, using only top-end components. The official supplier of motors is Yamaha.
EdgeWater launches a range of outboard fishing and recreational boats from light 15-foot to solid 37-foot.
Heritage series - compact and lightweight open boats, designed for a variety of operating conditions. The Central Consoles series, as the name implies, is a boat with a center console from 23 to 31 feet long and rich equipment. The Crossover series combines the comfort of a bow-rider and the virtues of a center console with a length of 24–28 feet.
The main highlight of all without exception EdgeWater boats is a lightweight, durable and unsinkable composite hull. Using technology Single Piece Infusion with a full filling of the internal space with polymer foam allows you to combine reliability and excellent driving performance. Significant weight reduction improves the dynamics and efficiency of these boats, reduces operating costs.
V-shaped contours with variable pitching are used for the hulls. This allows you to optimally combine stability, speed and comfort on the water.
An interesting feature of the company's service is the availability of its own online configurator. It allows you to equip a boat without leaving your home, find out the price of the selected equipment and immediately place an order.
