The American shipyard Crownline began its journey to fame in 1991. Then a 182 BR bow rider stepped out of a small workshop in Whittington, Illinois. Then things went quickly uphill. Six months later, the company rents a larger production facility, and after 3.5 years it has its own factory and launches a ten thousandth boat.
The lineup of the shipyard was also growing rapidly. It took the shipbuilder less than ten years to increase the number of models from 9 to 24. But Crownline was not always successful. So, in crisis 2008, the company was sold to a new owner due to financial problems, which, however, restored normal operation over the year.
Boat construction is centered on a single plant in West Frankfort. On a plot of more than 54,000 sq.m. production facilities, a head office, warehouses and a design department are located. From here, the finished boats are shipped to dealers worldwide. The expanded network includes more than 150 sales departments.
The lineup
The Crownline lineup is impressive, with more than 30 boats ranging in length from 5.5 to 11 meters to choose from. The Super Sport SS and Cross Sport XS series consist of fast bowriders, Eclipse E boats are classified as Deck boats. The Sport Cuddy SC line is distinguished by small boats with a caddy cabin in the bow.
Surf Edition boats are sports towers designed specifically for water sports. Cruiser cabin boats belong to Cruiser CR models; you can go on a short trip together for the weekend. The company also builds more comfortable open yachts.

Purchased a 2013 E-2 Crown Line 22 ft bow rider- electrical issues/ have no power to cig lighter outlets; changed fuses ; now radio that previously worked doesn’t ; also now when turn off engine does not make series of beeps as did prior to changing old fuses; need info on fuse box regarding fuse wattage and fuse placement- have a 6 slot fuse box using only 4 slots in box with wire only to those slots; need owners manual and fuse info ASAP
