In 2007, Malibu Boats drew attention to a poorly covered segment of the sports towing market. The boats existing at that time had a number of technical flaws and a high cost. The manufacturer assembled a group of like-minded people and created the new Axis brand.
The first model was born in early 2009, and the next year the shipyard received a prestigious award from the Water Sports Industry Association in the nomination “Innovation of the Year”. The company managed to build a simple, reliable and inexpensive tug.
Today, the Axis brand can rightly be called a trendsetter in the style of wakesurfing and wakeboarding boats. The boats are equipped with everything necessary for a comfortable rest on the water, including many lockers, transforming seats, a platform for swimming in the stern and much more.
Boats under the Axis brand are being built at three shipyards - in Australian New South Wales, in Tennessee and California (USA). The production involves more than 300 highly qualified specialists who are constantly improving technology and introducing new ones.
Axis brand lineups include fiberglass sport towing and bow riders from 6 to 7.5 meters in length. All boats are equipped with a stationary engine with a shaft, which is considered safer compared to other drives when playing sports.
When creating new models, the company's specialists pay attention to feedback from customers, and is also guided by the opinion of experts of their own team, among which there are world-famous athletes. An additional advantage of the shipyard is the constant monitoring of competitors' boats in order to avoid their mistakes.
